Established in 1988, Mount Majura Vineyard is one of the Canberra District’s pioneering vineyards and Canberra’s closest winery. Set on the slopes of Mount Majura, our 14-hectare vineyard is renowned for its Spanish and Mediterranean grapes, particularly Tempranillo, alongside Canberra classics such as Riesling and Shiraz.

13 Years in the Making

Our 2013 Late Disgorged Silurian is a remarkable expression of traditional-method sparkling wine. Extended ageing on lees has brought extraordinary complexity, texture and finesse, demonstrating just how exceptional Australian sparkling wine can be.  Recently awarded 96 points and ranked #1 of 59 2013 Sparkling whites from Australia by The Real Review, it’s a wine we’re particularly proud of — and one that has been well worth the wait!
